On Saturday, November 1st, Castle High School sent two athletes to compete in the IHSAA Cross Country State Championships at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course in Terre Haute, IN. Senior Quentin Pierce represented the boys cross country team while Sophomore Renee Noland represented the girls. In the first race, Renee set a new PR of 19:25.0 while finishing 73rd out of 208 runners. In the boys race, Quentin Pierce finished off a spectacular season and career finishing in 11th place with a time of 15:39.0 which was less than 30 seconds behind 1st place. Castle High School is very proud of the way these two athletes represented CHS at the State Championship.
