The postseason is in full swing for most Winter Sports.  Here is a rundown of what’s going on this weekend.

Friday, February 8, 2019 and Saturday, February 9, 2019
Girls Swimming and Diving State Championships
Location: Indiana University Natatorium, IUPUI, 901 W. New York St., Indianapolis
Times: 5pm CST (Friday), 12pm CST (Saturday)
Admission: $8 per session or $15 for both days.
Media: Saturday’s championship and consolation rounds will be streamed live at
CHS Entries:
200 Yard Medley Relay (Seeded 20th)
200 Yard Freestyle – Jamie Zimmerman (Seeded 27th)
200 Yard IM – Kaitlyn Porter (Seeded 6th)
100 Yard Butterfly – Kaitlyn Porter (Seeded 4th)
100 Yard Breaststroke – Hannah Haerle (Seeded 28th)
400 Freestyle Relay (Seeded 20th)
Fan Information:
Parking – Fans may park in the Sports Garage located off New York Street just east of the Natatorium
Videotaping – Videotaping of swimmers is permitted, only from the upper level seating.  No electrical power will be provided.  It is not necessary to contact the IHSAA for permission. Videotaping of diving is permitted from the deck level opposite the diving judges by coaches with the proper deck level pass.  No deck level passes will be given for the use of parents who wish to video diving.

Wrestling Semi-State Championships
Location: Ford Center, Evansville
Time: 1st Round begins at 9am with continuous wrestling throughout the day.  Finals approximately 4pm.
Admission: $8 for final session only or $10 for all day

Girls Basketball Regional
Location: Bedford North Lawrence High School
Times: Semifinal Game 12pm EST/11am CST; Championship Game 7:30 EST/6:30 CST
Admission: $7 per session or $10 for both sessions
Media: WYIR 96.9 and Media Five Sports WJPS 107.1
Semifinal #1 Center Grove vs. Bedford North Lawrence 10am EST
Semifinal #2 Castle vs. Bloomington South 12pm EST
Championship 7:30 EST
Fan Information:
Handicapped Parking – Available in driver’s education lot on West Side and Football Field on East Side. Must have handicapped plate or permit.
Entrances – Use entry 16 (East Side) or entry 30 (West Side)
Seating – No reserved seating.  Fans need to sit in their school’s designated section.  Student sectional available under the basket during the game.


IHSAA Tourney Restrictions:

A. No publications, brochures, fliers, etc. of any kind, whether for sale or free‐of‐charge, are to be distributed at IHSAA tournament events without prior approval from the IHSAA.

B. Balloons, banners and posters, shakers on sticks, etc., are not permitted.

C. Cowbells and other such noise devices, etc., are not permitted.

D. No live animals are permitted.

E. Line‐up lanes of fans shall not be permitted on the floor at any time.

F. Solicitations – donations, contributions and aggressive vending of school spirit items are not permitted.
