The Knights had a memorable evening while competing in Sectional 32 at Central on Thursday. The competition kicked off with the 3200 meter relay. In this event, the team consisting of Dane Kramer, Nathan Whitacre, Jackson Kramer, and Deacon Sawyer not only took first place but did so in a new meet record time of 8:04.89. Austin Pritchard, Antonio Harris, Gavin Leach, and Max McCool made up the 400 meter relay team that would be the second Castle group of the evening to set a new standard. The 4x1 team took 1st place in a new school record time of 42.49. Dane Kramer picked up his second victory of the evening when he won the 800 meters. AJ Lothamer won his second consecutive sectional title in the Pole Vault. Also qualifying for Regionals next Thursday: Antonio Harris in the 100, Max McCool in the 100, Colin Pillsbury in the Pole Vault, Izach Salpietra in the High Jump, Drayden DeMaree in the 400, Cole Yunker in the 3200, and Nathan Whitacre in the 3200.
