On Thursday at Central, the boys Track and Field team set two Sectional 32 records and advanced 16 athletes across 12 events to the Regional. The 3200 relay team of Nathan Whitacre, Ethan Morris, Austin Carlile, and Dane Kramer won in a Sectional 32 record time of 8:02.67. In the 200 meter dash, Ben Quach won the event while lowering his own school record time and setting a Sectional 32 record of 21.46. Quach teamed with Ky'Rique McCleary, Aaron Smith, and Rafa Iglesias to set a school record in the 400 meter relay. They advanced to Regionals in a new Castle record time of 42.25. Overall, the team took second place, 1.5 points behind the top spot.
