Thursday night at Central Stadium the Boys Track and Field team competed at the Regional meet. Six athletes earned their way through to the State Finals. The team will be represented in four events in Indianapolis next Saturday. The 3200 meter relay team won the Regional Championship. The team of Nathan Whitacre, Ethan Morris, Austin Carlile, and Dane Kramer lowered their school record and also set a new Regional 8 record with a time of 7:53.16. Dane Kramer also took second place in the 800 to advance. Ben Quach finished in second place in the 100 meter dash to advance. Aaden Smith earned his way through with a third place finish in the 300 hurdles. Overall, the team finished in second place.
