Thursday night at Central Stadium, Castle took home the team Sectional title. Leading the way for the Knights were senior Izach Salpietra and junior Dane Kramer. Both athletes won two events. Salpietra won both the High Jump and Long Jump while Kramer took first place in the 800 meter run and also anchored the winning 3200 meter relay. Joining Kramer on the winning 3200 relay team were sophomore Nathan Whitacre, sophomore Ethan Morris, and freshman Austin Carlile. Castle will be represented in 12 of 16 events at next weeks regional final.
