Castle JV Shuts Out Henderson County in Dominant Victory The Castle Knights JV football team delivered an all-around performance on Monday evening, defeating Henderson County in commanding fashion. The Knights’ defense set the tone early and never looked back, holding the Colonels scoreless in a 30–0 win. The defense consistently applied pressure and made critical stops throughout the game. The highlight came late in the first half when the Colonels drove into the red zone, threatening to score. Castle’s defense stood tall, forcing a turnover on downs. On the very next play, sophomore quarterback Sawyer Winsett connected with sophomore wide receiver Jaivon Aunspach on a 90-yard screen pass, extending the Knights’ lead to 18 points and swinging momentum firmly in Castle’s favor. Sophomore Ayden Bradbury added to the defensive dominance with an interception, shutting down another Henderson County drive. On offense, the Knights were explosive. Winsett finished the night with 4 touchdown passes, spreading the ball around to his playmakers. Aunspach continued his outstanding season with 3 receiving touchdowns, while sophomore fullback Drew Nelson added another score through the air. On the ground, sophomore running back Aaron “Mo” Smith powered in for a rushing touchdown to round out the balanced attack. With strong execution on both sides of the ball, the Knights secured another impressive win, showcasing a defense that matched their offensive firepower. The Knights will be back in action at home on Monday, September 15th, at 5:30 PM, when they host Harrison High School.
